Mark and his team came highly recommended, and they met and exceeded all of our expectations. His pricing method of cost + builder profit gave us peace of mind. We knew exactly what we were getting into and that there wouldn’t be a lot of “surprises” along the way. Because we were rookies at designing a home, building a custom home proved to be very valuable. We made some small changes in the plan along the way that provided a lot of additional satisfaction in the finished product. Mark told us the ability to make changes throughout the process was one of the key benefits to building a custom home. He was right, and he stuck by his word that these small changes would be made with no mention of a costly change order. Our home was built on schedule and we stayed with 5% of our original contracted price. My wife and I chose to spend the additional 5% in material upgrades. The project manager and crew are a very professional and reliable bunch. They framed our house in December 2008/January 2009. That January went down as one of the coldest on record, and I believe we only missed 1-2 days due to weather. My wife and I are extremely happy with our home and we’re proud to say it was built by Deichman Construction.”
